This place is definitely a vibe! The atmosphere was great and staff was super friendly. The drinks are absolutely fire! I recommend the Mainland Margarita. The burger was really good and wings also! Appetizers were the dumplings and bao buns. Definitely would go back again, it’s worth the price. 😎😮💨
You really cannot beat Kojo and Bar Hana when it comes to quality restaurant in SRQ. Nobu quality sushi, enchanting atmosphere, beautiful cocktails. One of the few places in SRQ where the dessert is worth the calories. The only recommendation would be that some of the cocktails could be a touch stronger. We still keep returning and returning…
This is a must stop if you are a mixology fan but at the same time EAT HERE! I can't say enough amazing things about this place. Atmosphere is perfectly matched to the "theme" they are going for. Bartenders knew their stuff and were extremely friendly. The Shrimp toast was a personal favorite for me as it was not what I was expecting at all and that is what I want from a restaurant. All of their cocktails we tried were spectacular! This is now on our permanent stop list! Keep up the good work and if you haven't been here I would highly suggest stopping in, even if just for a cocktail.
We stopped in after dinner because this bar was steps away from our hotel. Dillon was such an amazing bartender and was really friendly. We didn’t try the food because we were full. The bar has a cool Polynesian vibe. I wish the music was a bit more lively to match the atmosphere. We would definitely be back because of the excellent service from Dillon.
Bar Hana is a favorite spot to bring clients and friends visiting Sarasota. The ambiance is a fun tropical tiki bar vibe and the drinks are the best in the city. The Mainland Margarita has a cult like following and for good reason, it’s the best cocktail in SRQ! The manager Dustin is exceptional and truly wants to deliver an excellent experience, going above and beyond! The bartenders are always friendly and attentive as well. Can’t recommend highly enough and make sure to try the Mainland Marg!!
Was here for a private event. The staff was phenomenal and courteous. Had the pleasure of chatting with the event coordinator devin. Very pleasant person made every guest feel important and heard
Excellent!! Tried Bar Hanna (Kojo ) and I can’t wait to go again. Great place!! the atmosphere in the bar is inviting and comfortable, decoration is fun and tropical still elegant and the service was great, staff was so friendly and gave excellent recommendations. The cocktails were excellent, so fresh, smooth and tasty and the sushi rolls!!! I can’t say enough, delicious!!so fresh, buttery, and expertly prepared!! This is a place to try definitely,perfect for a fun occasion, happy hour or to just indulge yourself with something really special! 5 stars ⭐️
Wow. Just wow. Saturday night at Bar Hana and it absolutely delivered. Ran into Alexandria from Kojo next door (small world!), and from that moment on the night just got better. This place is a must for cocktails incredible drinks, amazing hospitality, and such a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere. Hands down one of the most happening spots in Sarasota right now. What really makes Bar Hana special, though, are the people. The team brings warmth, energy, and genuine care that you can feel the moment you walk in. Alexandria, they are incredibly lucky to have you. Love this establishment and the people who make it unforgettable. Can’t wait to be back 🍸✨
Bar Hana holds a special place in my heart. The positive energy and attention to detail keeps me returning- not to mention the tropical ambiance and decor! Also the best options for happy hour without quality compromise. The saucy fried tofu bites have become a regular staple for me-and I don’t typically eat tofu! Also love the pork fried rice and the shiitake roll
We had delicious drinks and appetizers for my sister’s birthday, and we had such a great time. The cocktails were amazing, and everything we ordered was so good, especially the tuna pizza (incredible), and the yellowtail, which was super fresh. Our bartender, Abby, was the sweetest, so attentive and genuinely friendly. She even brought us a complimentary coconut dessert for my sister’s birthday, which was delicious. The décor is fun and the ambiance is perfect for celebrating.
